Knoxville Police Department and Knox County District Attorney General’s Office Serve Nuisance Injunction
On Friday, August 3, 2018, the Knoxville Police Department and the Knox County District Attorney General’s Office served a Nuisance Injunction at 3305 McKamey Road. The nuisance injunction was requested by the Drug Related Death Task Force following multiple drug related incidents at the residence including a 2017 shooting death and two overdoses. The nuisance order was drafted by ADA Jennifer Welch of the DA’s office and issued by Criminal Court Judge Bob McGhee.
The nuisance injuntion was served today by the Drug Related Death Task Force along with the Knoxville Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit and the Special Operations Squad.
In addition to the nuisance injunction being served, the primary resident, David Beets, was charged with Maintaining a Dwelling for Drug Use. He is currently be held in the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility on other drug charges.
