SHERIFF’S OFFICE OFFERING REWARD LEADING TO THE ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS

MARYVILLE, TENNESSEE- Blount County Sheriff James Lee Berrong said the Sheriff’s Office is offering a $2,000 reward leading to the arrest of the individuals who robbed the La Lupita store on East Broadway earlier this evening.

This photo below is the suspect vehicle. It is believed to be a dark blue or black Mazda 6, and the two suspects are Hispanic males. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

Shortly before 7 pm, the suspects robbed the La Lupita at gunpoint and left the store in this vehicle. One suspect was armed with a gun and the other suspect had a knife. No injuries were reported at this time. Deputies continue to canvas the area.

UPDATE ON LA LUPITA ROBBERY

MARYVILLE, TENNESSEE – Sheriff James Lee Berrong is asking citizens to look closely at this suspect vehicle that was used by the two men who robbed La Lupita on East Broadway at gunpoint Wednesday evening. The vehicle is a Mazda 6, dark in color, with black 5-slot mag rims and passenger side molding that appears to be missing from the vehicle. The rear tail lights are totally clear lenses, and could be an aftermarket item.

The Sheriff’s Office is offering a $2,000 reward leading to the arrest of these two suspects, who are Hispanic males.

Shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday, these suspects robbed the La Lupita store at gunpoint and left the store in this vehicle. One suspect was armed with a gun, and the other man had a knife.
