Bell County Couple Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges
Appalachia Narcotics Investigations, along with the Bell County Sheriff’s Department have placed a Laurel Hill couple in jail for drug trafficking.
Over the course of several months, multiple drug purchases were made from Karen Roark and Ken Tolliver. Roark has been charged with four counts of Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st degree, Methamphetamine. Tolliver has been charged with one count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, Methamphetamine; Trafficking in Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd degree and Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon.
These arrests are the result of concentrated efforts by Appalachia Narcotics Investigations and the Bell County Sheriff’s Office in the Laurel Hill community of Bell County after receiving numerous citizen complaints.
Appalachia Narcotics Investigations is a multi-agency drug investigative unit comprised of detectives from the Kentucky State Police, Pineville Police Department, Harlan County Sheriff’s Office and the Bell County Sheriff’s Office.
Note: The Jail Has Mr. Tolliver’s Arrest Listed as “New Tazewell Tennessee”.
