Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Taylor McDaniel along with Deputy Joey Robinson arrested Marvin Hatfield age 44 of London on Saturday afternoon February 2, 2019 at approximately 2:12 PM. The arrest occurred off Tim Bowman Drive, approximately 4 miles east of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a female subject screaming for help. Upon arriving at the residence deputies saw a male subject at the scene who ran into the house and following numerous commands from deputies this individual exited the residence attempting to spit on deputies and created a disturbance by yelling and screaming and was placed in the patrol car. Deputies found a female subject inside the residence crying there stating there had been an alleged physical altercation where the male subject had pushed her down and hit her in the face. While the male subject was in the back of the patrol car he continued to create a disturbance attempting to kick the back windows of the patrol vehicle. Marvin Hatfield was charged with assault – 4th degree – domestic violence; resisting arrest; disorderly conduct – second-degree; menacing; fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot; possession of marijuana.
