On 8/20/2018 around 5 p.m. Detective Joe Holder and Officer Edward Dray assisted social workers in an physical abuse complaint call in Happy Hollow Apartmens. Upon arrival Detective Holder asked Travis L. Cobb if he could enter the residence. Consent was granted. Mr. Cobb then attempted to break a plate on the coffee table that held a powdery substance later confirmed to be Methanphetamine. Mr. Cobb’s one year old son was within reach of the drug. Mr. Cobb was arrested and charged with:
Criminal Abuse Of A Child in the 1st degree
Possession of controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense
Tampering with physical evidence.
Mrs. Sierra Cobb who was also inside the residence was arrested and given the same charges excluding “tampering with physical evidence”.
Mr. and Mrs. Cobb are currently lodged in the Bell County Detention Center with each being under a 25K “Cash” bond.
The child was found to have bruises on both sides of his ribs as well as a bad diaper rash.
