11/24/18 around 3:30 in the afternoon, Officer Christopher Barnes (Big C.) is following a 2005 Blue Dodge Van with Kentucky tags out on Noetown Road (Hwy 441). The Van swerves and then runs into the Ditch by Hensley Chapel Church. Big C. finds the driver, Mr. Johnny Lee Clevenger of Middlesboro unable to pass a road side sobriety test. Mr. Clevenger also has a bag of syringes and a small bag of meth in the vehicle. Mr. Clevenger also has a bench warrant for his arrest for FTM as well as no insurance on the vehicle. Mr. Clevenger is 51 years old. I find it difficult to find sympathy here. Thank you Big C. for taking Mr. Clevenger off the road before he ran over a group of school kids getting off the bus (look at the time) or somebody’s grandmother crossing the street.
Mr. Clevenger is currently residing at the Bell County Detention Center charged with:
Bench Warrant (Failure to maintain required Insurance)
Operating Motor Vehicle under the influence alcohol/drugs/etc.
Possession of controlled substance 1st degree/1st offense Methamphetamine
Drug Paraphernalia buy-possess
Failure To produce insurance Card
Bond is listed at 50 dollars “cash” on the Warrant and no bond on the other charges.
11/25/18 Just before 11 P.M. Big C. makes a traffic stop out on Medley lane off Noetown Road of a 2002 Gold F150 with Tennessee Tags. The Driver had “blood shot eyes” and the vehicle smelled like the day you bought your first bong. Anyhow, the driver, Ms. Kimberly M. Turner couldn’t pass the road side dance routine and therefore admitted to using some meth and smoking weed. When the truck was searched a pill bottle with some meth in it was found as well as some weed
Suddenly, a brisk cool wind came through, the hair on the back of their necks stood up. The Dogs on Medley lane stopped barking. The night became as quiet as the Hensley Chapel Grave yard. Big C. who already had the cuffs on Ms. Turner and stored her safely into the cruiser looked up. Two Laser Red eyes stared back at him from the Darkness. The Stalker had arrived. Christine flashed the head lights a couple of times to show Big C. that he was covered.
You see there is a passenger in the vehicle, a certain Mr. Jonathan Prater of Middlesboro who has a neat little arrest history. In fact, he was wanted on an “Indictment warrant”. Needless to say, that once Mr. Prater saw the Stalker, “resistance is futile”. The Stalker had Mr. Prater in Pineville faster than you can say “Polly Holler”. Bonus Delivered.
Mr. Prater’s list includes but is not limited to:
Suspended Licence X1
Possession of Meth X1
Drug Paraphernalia X1
Bench Warrant X3
Mr. Prater enjoyed the ride down to Pineville where he is currently housed, charged with:
The Bonds total 1250.00 “Cash”.
Ms. Turner is also chilling down in Pineville charged with:
Bench Warrant For FTA
Operation of a motor vehicle under the influence alcohol/drugs/etc.
Possession 1st degree/2nd offense Methamphetamine
Drug Paraphernalia buy-possess
Rear Licence Not Illuminated
No Operators Licence
Ms. Turner’s Bond at 1K “Cash” on the warrant and no bonds listed on the other charges.
Big C. Did a great job of taking two “driving while blind” individuals off the road. Thank You Big C. I hope the public realizes that you may have saved their lives or the life of one of their loved ones.
