The arrest occurred off Creekside Drive, approximately 2/10 mile east of London after Deputy Jones was dispatched to a complaint from a home owner that there was a female subject at his residence attempting to kick his door in. Prior to arrival Deputy Jones was further notified that the homeowner had called again stating that the female subject had broken a window out of the front of the residence. When Deputy Jones arrived at the scene, he noted he observed a female subject standing on the porch of the residence with blood on her face stating that somebody had picked her up on Laurel River Road and dropped her off somewhere and she did not know how she got to the residence. Deputy Jones noted that this subject was unsteady on her feet and her speech was slurred and she stated that she knocked on the door of the residence and upon being told that police had been notified she continued to break out the window of the residence with a rock sticking a pair of pants through the hole. Deputy Jones determined that this individual was under the influence. Summer Angel was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; criminal mischief – first-degree.
