7/24/2019 around 9:30 in the morning. Detective Joe Holder spots Ely Hembree (AKA “Cowboy”) riding shot gun or should I say: “drive up window for pills” in a 2000 GMC pick up with Tennessee Tags going up Winchester Avenue. Mr. Hembree has 3 Criminal Complaint warrants for Trafficking on him. Of course Detective Holder initiated a traffic stop and seen old man Hembree throw a bottle of dope behind the seat. After the old man was arrested, the dope bottle was found to contain 50 oxys. You know, just enough pills to get the entire High School stoned. The old man also had about a thousand dollars on him.
So the “Cowboy” got taxied down to his familiar surroundings in Pineville where he was charged with 6 counts of “Trafficking” and given a 5 K “Cash” Bond. He was out in about 8 hours. Must be nice to be a rich dope dealer huh?
This is the 13th “Trafficking” Charge “Cowboy” has earned over his illustrious career. It’s too bad we don’t have any statistics on how many addicts and overdoses his poisons have caused, or how many families destroyed, women losing their children, jail times, auto accidents, etc.
What we have here is a case of an old dog not being able to learn a new trick. Ely “Cowboy” Hembree is not going to reform. He’s not going to stop selling drugs no matter what you do. The Old man knows one trick and he’s going to keep performing it. Another old dog is Detective Joe Holder (Joe ain’t that old but it’s an example). Joe is not going to stop busting the “Cowboy” no matter how many times the dumb asses in the justice system down in Pineville keep turning him out to spread dope. Joe won’t stop performing that trick.
Lastly, I’m an old dog myself, not as old as the “Cowboy” but old enough to be Joe Holder’s Uncle and I’m not gonna stop performing the trick I know. Every time Joe busts the dope dealing, poison spreading “Cowboy” I’m gonna run it up the flag pole for the citizens of Middlesboro to see. I’m also going to continue to run it up the ass of those in Pineville (Lawyers, Judges, etc.) that let it happen. It seems they only know one old trick down there also…let em go.
For those of you that don’t remember, Joe Holder led a raid on the “Cowboy”‘s shop on 20th street back in November of 2018. Not too long ago huh? Well that raid turned up a bunch of dope and drug money and the “Cowboy” spent all of 2 days in jail. This caused a big Bru Ha Ha with some telling us what a “nice guy” the “Cowboy” was. One local media even had much of it on video. I’m sorry but in my world drug dealers aren’t nice folks. They only care for themselves. Those of you that think different, I hope it’s your kids they get hooked on dope.
Well maybe, the “Cowboy”, Joe Holder and myself should start a rock band. We could call it 3 Old Dog Night.
Thank You Joe Holder.
Go Team Middlesboro!!!
