Wanton endangerment arrest:

Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Gary Mehler arrested Thomas L. Mosley age 31 of London just after midnight early Saturday morning August 17, 2019 at 12:29 A.M.on West Laurel Rd., approximately 8 miles west of London. While on routine patrol, Deputy Mehler observed this individual driving a green colored Polaris off Road vehicle at a high rate of speed. Deputy Mehler noted that the Polaris was pulling a utility trailer behind it and had an adult male and female riding on the trailer – the male sitting on a red milk crate and the female subject sitting on a blue cooler. Deputy Mehler noted the trailer was wobbling from side to side. Deputy Mehler activated his emergency lights and siren and initially the vehicle sped up but after approximately one quarter of a mile pulled over. Deputy Mehler noted that West Laurel Rd. has a large volume of lake traffic traveling that roadway and that the individuals riding in the trailer were placed at serious risk of death or serious physical injury. The operator of the Polaris was determined to be driving on a DUI suspended license with two prior convictions. Thomas L. Mosley was charged with two counts of wanton endangerment – first-degree; driving on a DUI suspended license – third offense; no registration plates; and other violations. This individual was lodged in the Laurel County correctional center. Photo of accused attached is courtesy of the Laurel County correctional center.
