The Joker:

1/3/19 almost 8: 30 P.M. Dispatch gets a call of shoplifters out at Walmart. So what else is new? Officer Kenny Vanover (Big K.) and Officer Harvey Johnson (Harvey) answer the call. Big K. goes to the security desk to find out where the problem is while Harvey patrols the Ice Cream aisle. Well, as debonair as Big K. is, the head of security (Ms. Goodin) is not disappointed, but would rather have had The Southern Gentleman or Motown Patterson answer the call. She appreciates the calm they bring over the store upon entering, at least it’s not that brash Law Man Smith or J.J.

Anyhow, Big K. gets the info and radios Harvey who finishes the sweet roll (Cherry filling) and moves in. Apparently, Ms. Rebecca Lynn Elliot of Middlesboro, whose previously been banned from the store for shoplifting, is trying to get $256.83 worth of stuff out of the store. When she sees Harvey she knows the gig is up. He’s already arrested her once out there.

Ms. Elliott was ushered down to the Pineville holding area for shoplifters and charged with:

Shoplifting
Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree
Bench Warrant FTA (Didn’t show up on the last charge).
A 500 Dollar “Cash” bond was listed on the FTA warrant and no bonds are listed on the other charges.

1/3/19 Same Joker Time, Same Joker Channel. Our Beloved Harvey and Big K. are still in the store. I can’t say if the Ladies are together but anyhow, we’ve got another shoplifter. Ms. Lisa Partin (Alias Evans) is using the self check out lines but manages to just not run $283.56 worth of stuff over the scanner and try and get out the door with it.

Ms. Partin/Evans runs into Big K. and well, she’s just not having a good day. Ms. Partin/Evans also has some meth and pills on her person (You know how important it is to bring your dope with you when shoplifting.) and has previously been banned from the property for the same issues.

Ms. Partin/Evans got accompanied down to her Pineville Time Share and charged with:

Shoplifting
Possession of Meth
Possession of Drug Unspecified
Criminal Trespass.
No bonds are listed.

36 year old, Ms. Elliot is just getting started. Her previous charges are:
Shoplifting

51 year old, Ms. Partin/Evans is nearing the end of her career we hope. Her previous charges include:

The Sad part here is that folks steal. For what reasons they steal, we can not always know. One thing is for sure, stealing hurts all of us. Once again, I can not say if the women were acting as a team or not, just because they were arrested at the same time. In this case, it looks like we have two lives that have and are spiraling out of control.

These are the events that our Boys In Blue have to deal with. Day after Day after Day of fighting crime and protecting the public. Watching tragedy after tragedy unfold while not being able to stop it. Seeing the Justice System let the same perpetrators and bad guys go free and at the same time jailing and harming the poor. This is what the police carry home with them every night. This is what they wake up to in the morning.

Thank You Big K. and Harvey for your service.

Go Team Middlesboro !!!
