More arrests on an ongoing investigation:
Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: the Laurel Sheriff’s office arrested three additional individuals after an ongoing continuing investigation by the Sheriff’s office as a result of an investigation and arrest this past weekend involving a 16-year-old male Laurel County juvenile. The arrests occurred off Taylor subdivision Road, approximately 7 miles South of London on Monday afternoon October 22, 2018 at approximately 1:45 PM. Laurel Sheriff’s detectives located two male subjects in a black colored infinity and one female subject at a residence and found all in possession of a large quantity of marijuana including processed marijuana, and marijuana oil. Those arrested were identified as:
• Joshua C. Brown Age 25 of Taylor Subdivision Rd., London charged with trafficking in marijuana – more than 8 ounces but under 5 pounds –1st offense.
• Harmony Vaughn age 20 of Taylor Subdivision Rd., London charged with trafficking in marijuana – 8 ounces or more but under 5 pounds – first offense.
• Austin May age 20 of Mount Moriah Rd., London charged with trafficking in marijuana more than 8 ounces but under 5 pounds – first offense.

The investigating and arresting officers in today’s arrests included Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards, Detective Bryon Lawson, and Detective Gary Mehler.
Investigation will be continuing by the Laurel County Sheriff’s office.
