Detectives from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Property Crimes Unit have been working with several agencies in a multi-state investigation that peaked with the White Pine Police Departments traffic stop of three suspects on I-81 the morning of February 6, 2019.
Based on information acquired from various agencies, Property Crimes Detectives were able to obtain and execute a Search Warrant on an Apartment in North Knoxville.
In the Apartment Detectives were able to recover 8 gas pump skimmers, several laptops, a magnetic credit card reader/writer, tablets, electronic storage devices, several re-coded credit cards and $17,680.00 in US Currency. The investigation is ongoing.
