Burglary arrest:

Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards arrested Earl E. McIntosh age 22 of Cherry Hill Rd., Corbin Early Sunday morning November 4, 2018 at approximately 5:33 AM. The arrest occurred off South Stewart Rd., approximately 10 miles South of London, following an investigation conducted by the Sheriff’s office regarding a burglary of the First National Bank branch off US 25 E, where forced entry had occurred. As the Sheriff’s office conducted its investigation ,an individual was located in the vicinity and was arrested on an unrelated warrant. The Sheriff’s office determined from reviewing video footage from the bank that this arrested individual was allegedly involved in the burglary. In addition, as the investigation continued and information was developed it was also determined that this individual had earlier apparently been in possession of a cash drawer stolen from the Philly Connection restaurant off US 25 E. Earl E. McIntosh was charged with burglary – third-degree; possession of burglary tools; theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000; criminal mischief – first-degree; receiving stolen property under $10,000. In addition, this subject was charged on an unrelated Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of terroristic threatening – third-degree.
