News Staff Reports
The Polygraph News has learned that a Fentress County Corrections Officer, Sue Cravens, was overtaken by an unrestrained inmate, Stephanie Briggs, who accompanied her to a local bank.
According to our sources, the officer’s patrol car was then stolen by Briggs who managed to drive it to Jamestown where she was clocked going through a school zone at 75 miles per hour by a city officer.
After clearing Jamestown, she continued travelling north on Highway 127, where she struck another vehicle within a mile of the Kentucky border. There is no word on the condition of the passengers inside the vehicle or the inmate she struck. We will update this story as the story develops.
