Sheriff’s Office CID Detectives aren’t letting the freezing temps slow them down. They continue to be hot making cases and removing drugs from our county. This evening some Benton County residents made the mistake of coming to Humphreys County looking to distribute approximately three ounces of highly pure methamphetamine ICE and other narcotics. Detectives assisted by Patrol Division Deputies and K-9 however cut their visit short tonight seizing approximately $3,000 worth of drugs and the vehicle used to transport it.

Both suspects were booked at the Humphreys County Jail. Stave Barbee and Paula Strobuch were both charged with Possession of schedule II for Resale and Possession of Meth amphetamines for Resale and Drug Paraphernalia
If you have information about illegal drug activity you are encouraged to contact HCSO and speak with a Detective confidentiality. Working together with our citizens we are a much more effective crime fighting team.
